In 2005, Shangeetha Amma started with one clay pot and a belief that everyone deserves a hot home-cooked meal. Today we feed 500+ families daily β but the recipe hasn't changed.
Our cooks are daughters of grandmothers who've guarded spice ratios for four decades. Every morning at 6 AM the fires are lit, tamarind is soaked, and village vegetables arrive fresh. By 11 AM, the banana leaves are laid β and Salem's families come home.
